An increasingly prevalent phenomenon

You know, I don't really think it should be pronounced the same as 'we'. It's got one of those weird double vowels like 'continuum'. It'd be more like... 'we-I'. What gaming console do Geordies play on? A Nintendo Why-aye. Heh. I bet I'm the first person to think of that. (468,000,000 Google results later:) OH FOR GOD'S SAKE.
